Recap: Our Earlybird Kickoff in the Park
Last week, we gathered in the heart of Blacksburg for our very first campaign event — the Earlybird Kickoff! It was an evening full of connection, community, and shared excitement about a new kind of leadership for our town.
From the very beginning, our campaign has been about listening — and this event brought together the voices of those who’ve been with us from the start. Supporters, friends, and neighbors stopped by to meet Pete, hear about his platform, and learn how to get involved. The atmosphere was casual and warm, with plenty of meaningful conversations, laughter, and vision-casting for what a better Blacksburg could look like.
We handed out campaign materials, signed up our first wave of volunteers, and laid the groundwork for the movement ahead. Whether you picked up a yard sign, joined a working group, or simply showed up with your curiosity — thank you.
