Election Day

We need your help on Election Day (Tuesday, November 4) to make sure voters across Blacksburg know about Pete Macedo and what he stands for. There are 9 polling locations across town, and we’re looking for volunteers to cover rotating shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

Volunteers will greet voters outside polling places, hand out campaign literature, and make a strong final impression for Pete—without entering polling locations or interfering with voting. This is one of the most important volunteer opportunities of the campaign, and every hour you can give makes a big difference.

Please sign up for as many shifts as you’re able— let’s finish strong and bring Pete across the finish line!

Popsicles in the Park

Join us for Popsicles in the Park — a relaxed, open-air community gathering designed to spark real conversations and fresh ideas.

📍 Location: Nellies Cave Park

We’ll kick things off with a short welcome and intro to Pete’s campaign, followed by a few words from Pete himself about current town topics and why your input matters.

Then, we’ll move into a 20-minute group conversation where you’re invited to share ideas, ask questions, or raise issues you think deserve more attention.

After that? Stick around! The formal part wraps up around 5:30, but we’ll be hanging out for a while — chatting casually, answering questions, and enjoying popsicles with neighbors. Whether you stay for 30 minutes or the full two hours, your voice matters.

Bring your ideas, your concerns, and your appetite for community change (and cold treats). We can’t wait to see you there.

Let us know you're coming! (Optional, but helpful.)
